1. Clipper and blade servicing
Our expert service partners will service your clippers, sharpen those blunt blades, or even do both to have them back in cutting shape. High-quality clippers that are well serviced are a must-have grooming tool in keeping your horse’s appearance tidy. All you need to do is drop them off at our Discount Equestrian store and we will have them delivered to the experts. The prices for various services and the turnaround time are as below:
- Blade sharpening:
Turnaround time- Maximum of 10 working days
cost- $13.50
- Blade sharpening (Express service):
Turnaround time- Maximum of 6 working days
Cost- $20.00
- Clipper service (dismantle, check, clean, grease+ any additional parts)
Cost: $37.00
- Clipper service (Express)
Turnaround time: Maximum of 6 working days
Cost: $46.00
2. Hat fitting
For safety reasons, your horse riding hat should fit comfortably, not too loose or too tight that it is uncomfortable. For this reason, Discount Equestrian offers free hat fitting for all its buyers, making sure that they get the best fit so the hat meets the safety and comfort needs. While you can just pop in our store and get fitted, the best option would be to call in advance so there can be a trained staff member available to take your measurements when you arrive. Also, those that process their riding hat online can still visit the shop with their proof of purchase in the form of a packing slip or order acknowledgment email for a free fitting.
3. Body protector fitting
The idea behind wearing a body protector is to protect you the rider from severe injuries in the event of a riding accident. Our body protector absorbs and spreads forces from being kicked/ trodden by a horse or falling off, preventing injury to the internal organs, bones, and joints. It should therefore be a perfect fit for you, and free body protector fitting is one of those in-house services that we offer our client. Those who opt to buy body protection online also qualify for the free service should they decide to visit the store for a fitting.
